I find the answers written by the following people particularly insightful. This is not to say that I agree with them in all aspects. But their answers very often throw new light into subjects I am interested in.
- Anurag Bhatia : The founder of Minance. His answers are very interesting to read. He comes across as a very well read person on finance and also a person who gives a lot of thought to wealth creation. I believe you should follow him.
- Bhartiya Niveshak: A very good fundamental analyst, I should say. Instead of laying out a lot of numbers like a lot of so called “analysts”, this guy does share a lot of insights into the company he goes on to analyse. More than the analysis, his experience on the stock market is quite evident in all the answers. Must follow, I think.
- Kirubakaran Rajendran: He is the founder of Square Off which is similar to Minance, I believe. I have mostly come across his answers on technical analysis of stocks. Provides a real insight into the movement of scrips, his answers. I recommend.
- Rahul Arora: He is into commodity trading, particularly Oil. His answers, however, are not restricted to that alone. I have learnt a lot from his answers and I think you would too.
- Rahul Dadmi: He is quite young and that arrogance of youth often comes out in his answers. But, isn’t that the whole point of being young? His answers, many a times are hawkish, nevertheless, has taught me a lot. I would recommend him too.
- Amit Ghosh: Another young guy on the list. Writes a lot of insightful answers. I don’t always find myself in agreement with his view, but still provides much fodder for thought. Recommended.
- Gopal Kavalireddi: Whenever this guys answers pop up in my feed, I read them very curiously. I don’t follow his penny stock recommendations or anything, but many of his answers are substantively rich. Recommended.
- Tejas Khoday: I heard about Fyers after reading his answers. It often fills me with pride when I see a young compatriot exploring something so challenging and exciting. Sometimes, you might feel he is a little bit over promoting his platform, but I am ready to pardon him for the good quality content he is providing. I believe Fyers is indeed worthy of being promoted.
- Nithin Kamath : The founder of Zerodha is not very active on Quora. But I follow him for the fact that it is another hot discount broker in the scene.
- Sowmay Jain : He is still in his teens, but still writes quite good answers. A self taught kid, whose answers I find very interesting. I would say, go long on him ;)
- Pramod Kumar: A very experienced participant in the market. His answers are worth reading if you want to see how age and experience can make you better and more mature in your field of study. Recommended.
These are people that I recommend you should follow as a beginner. I do not subscribe to their views completely, but nevertheless patiently read everything they have to say. I believe you should also internalise their wisdom and then use it in a way that makes sense to you.
