The life in model engineering college and CUSAT was instrumental in shaping my personality. Therefore I would like to think that it had an indirect role to play in my selection in the civil services.
My wife and I met in college and without her I don’t think I would have had the courage to travel this far. I think I have my college to thank for that.
The late night walks through the CUSAT campus and Thrikkakkara with my friends had helped me clear a lot of things in my mind and would prove to be very useful later in my career.
Nothing direct, but CUSAT and MEC played a huge role in making me what I am. Therefore it did play a role in my selection in civil services, though indirectly.
