These pictures were taken during our RBI attachment, Mumbai. It’s the main office. The sessions there were some of the best sessions on India’s monetary policy that I had attended.
The RBI office is as corporate as a government office can get. It is fantastic, and that’s the least to say about it.
After passing the security you reach the facade where you find these sculptures and carvings.
Then you enter to the entrance hall where this huge painting welcomes you.
You walk through the corridor and enter the lift. Check the floors that are accessible. I would like to imagine there are huge rooms full of gold in the floors that are not accessible.
The conference room is pretty good with what I thought was a weirdly oval table

Then once you reach the top floor, there’s this view of Mumbai. You can see the Gateway of India and Taj Mahal hotel if you zoom in.
